What are your youth behavior policies?

Boneshaker Adventures’ staff actively strive to create a safe and positive group culture. We use a positive reinforcement approach to try to best meet the needs of each student, which encourages participation and celebrates successes. We have high expectations for all student behaviors. We do our best to implement fair and consistent behavior management processes that are agreed upon and understood by the students. Our staff works to consistently model to students the behavior that is expected.  We support positive, non-socially exclusive relationships between all students. It is the expectation that students and staff use respectful language at all times during our programs. A positive culture does not mean happiness or comfort for each student at all times; It is reflected by how the group overcomes difficulty and hardship.

Parent support is the key to success for all students. If significant challenges of student behavior occur that impact emotional, social, and/or physical safety, staff will communicate with parents and a safety plan might be implemented. If unsafe behavior continues, the affecting student could be unenrolled from the program.

*Refunds will not be issued if a student is unenrolled from a program due to behavior.
